#10 Rats Love Sewers

With an estimated 70 million rats scurrying around New York City, the Big Apple's sewers are probably crawling with the furry pests. After all, if there's one place you're guaranteed to find a mischief (or group) of rats, it's in sewage systems. Hoards of rats occupy subterranean sewers to feed off the smorgasbord of food waste down there. People who fail to keep their sewage pipes clean may end up with a domestic rat infestation since the rodents can follow that waste trail all the way inside toilets and sinks.
