Meet the Junk Men

 
 
  • Jimmy Ruocco
    Jimmy Ruocco
    As a kid, he worked alongside his father who was in the auto body repair business. He bought his first car at 16, a 1966 Pontiac, from the junkyard for $100! Jimmy graduated high school with honorary emphasis on science. He went to college in Florida for Oceanography but he got in a car accident and never went back. He has owned the junkyard for 25 years. Jimmy is famous for saying, "Where would the world be without the junk men?"

    The first person people see when they enter the shop, Bart spends his day managing the customers and their unique requests. He is the only one Jimmy trusts to handle the front of the house, due to his patient and even-keeled nature. A former marine, Bart recommends that every 18 year old should join one branch of the service or the other. If he could reenlist he would do it! He has worked for Jim for 6 years but he has been in salvage for 30 years.
     
    Billy Cottle
    Billy Cottle
    Billy is known around town or being Jimmy's miracle mechanic. He loves bringing cars that just sat around for 20 years back to life. What Billy loves about working in the junkyard is the variety of people and the work. As a big brother, he scares his sisters' mechanics in being honest and loves to help single moms and parents.
     
    Hale Storm
    Hale Storm
    Hale and Jimmy go back to when he first showed up at Jimmy's doorstep 10 years ago. Truly a one-of-a-kind character, Hale comes to the junkyard every day with off-the-wall items and rare signs-even diving into dumpsters to hunt for undiscovered treasures!
